Order Fulfillment

We custom make all orders made from this website!  Shipping times importantly do not include the time it takes to custom create each order.  Under most circumstances, we aim to create your order in 1-3 business days from when it was placed.

Notes on shipping and local delivery!!

If you are within our local Los Angeles delivery area (determined by your shipping zip code at checkout):

  • Delivery hours
    We can deliver to your location during the hours of 10am-4pm, Monday through Saturday.  If you have a preference on time, PLEASE let us know that in your order notes when you check out!
  • Arranging your delivery
    You will receive an email or phone call to inform you of your estimated delivery time.  You must confirm your delivery time, and we can work out a new time if our suggestion doesn’t work for you. Failure to confirm the delivery time may result in cancellation of your order.  Once your order is confirmed, we will email you with the confirmation details, including estimated time frame and location.
  • Customer responsibilities surrounding delivery
    An adult over 18 years of age, and authorized to accept deliveries at your location, must be present.  If such a person is not present when we deliver to the agreed upon address during the time frame you confirmed, the cost of your order unfortunately cannot be refunded to you. This is done to keep our costs affordable, as we do ensure that any and all staff are fairly compensated for labor.
  • Our responsibilities surrounding delivery
    If we fail to deliver an order during the agreed upon time frame and to the agreed upon location, orders are refundable.  Exceptions to this rule:

    • When your location is not safely and publicly accessible, failure to deliver will not be on the part of the company or our delivery driver.  We will make every reasonable attempt to contact you (such as calling/texting to say we’re here if we can’t get to your door!) in such situations.  Examples:
      • A dog present in the front yard, and we cannot safely access the front door of your house
      • Your house is in a gated community and no one is available to buzz the delivery driver in
      • Your location is an apartment complex with a gate that we cannot bypass, and no one comes out to receive the order
      • Your location, or the roads that we must take to access it, are blocked by protests, natural disasters, etc.
    • If we attempt to deliver and are unable to because of one of the reasons above, or similar, we will do our best to work with you to arrange a new delivery time.
    • If our re-delivery attempt is also unsuccessful for reasons such as those listed above, or we are not able to agree upon a re-delivery time and place in a reasonable amount of time, your order may, at our discretion, become nonrefundable.

Any orders outside of our local delivery area MUST be shipped.

  • At this time, we can only ship to California locations.  Apologies to our out of state friends!
  • Certain products, such as cupcakes, unfortunately cannot be shipped at this time and MUST be delivered.
  • Shipping time estimates are the estimates provided to us by our carriers and are subject to carrier-related as well as weekend/holiday delays.  At this time, we may use USPS, UPS, and FedEx depending on the situation.
  • We ship orders on Mon-Wed to avoid, as much as possible, weekend carrier delays.
  • If you need an order before any particular holiday, please place it within ample time of that holiday so as not to be affected by carrier-related holiday rushes, as we have no control over postal speed once a package is deposited to them!
  • Be aware of weather when placing shipping orders.  Shipped orders will not require a signature, so be sure that someone is present to receive any packages you order, to avoid chocolate melting and other related weather issues.

Refunds and Replacements

Did you love your order? If not, let us know! We’re committed to your 100% satisfaction and will work to fix any mistake and make it right!

We will refund or replace your order if you receive an item which is spoiled or severely damaged, or if we fail to deliver according to the terms described above.  Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.  In the case of returns, photos of the item and/or package may be required to document issues and/or damage.  Do not immediately discard an item that arrives damaged after shipping, as in some rare cases, the shipping carrier may require the damage package be shown to them to establish damages caused by shipping.  Failure to provide photos and/or the physical damaged package(s) (if required by the shipping service) may result in the denial of a refund.
